Whether you're dreaming of relaxing on pristine beaches, exploring the famous Arch, or enjoying world-class dining, Los Cabos has something for everyone. Let me take you on a journey through extraordinary hotels, great food, wonderful culture, and those beautiful, pristine blue waters that make Los Cabos such a special destination.
I recently had the opportunity to experience Los Cabos firsthand through a Delta Vacations tour, and what a trip it was!
We arrived at the quaint Los Cabos airport and took a shuttle to the terminal. The airport area was clean, modern, and newly constructed. Our first stop was Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos – All Inclusive in San José del Cabo.
I was immediately impressed by the size of the rooms. They were huge, beautifully renovated, and thoughtfully appointed. Our room was stocked with fresh fruit, nuts, champagne, and other snacks. What a wonderful welcome! The open-air lobby created a beautiful first impression, and the resort's pool area included a lazy river, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.
During our site inspection, the resort was preparing for a wedding. Watching everything come together was beautiful, and the evening atmosphere was absolutely romantic. We ended the night with dinner and drinks at Hacienda Baja Grill, enjoying great food and the beautiful atmosphere.
The next morning, we were off to breakfast and another site inspection at One&Only Palmilla. I was honestly in awe.
From the décor and architecture to the beautifully maintained grounds, everything was stunning. The staff was warm, professional, and welcoming.
We toured the property, including the chapel, spa, and wellness areas. The tranquility of the resort was incredible. There were beautiful natural healing spaces designed to create a sense of peace and relaxation. And the aroma throughout the wellness areas was amazing!
One&Only Palmilla was definitely screaming relaxation. It is the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe, and completely disconnect. We enjoyed lunch at Aqua, surrounded by the beauty of the resort, before heading to our next destination.
Next stop: Viceroy Los Cabos. The resort was modern, chic, clean, and absolutely beautiful. Once again, the staff was wonderful and made us feel welcome. We had the opportunity to experience a festive fiesta, complete with great food, drinks, music, and fun.
As we headed back to our hotel that evening, I couldn't help but appreciate just how beautiful Los Cabos is after dark. The lights, the architecture, and the atmosphere created a completely different experience from the daytime.
The following day, we headed to Breathless Los Cabos, and I was excited to see another side of the destination.
Breathless brings a completely different energy to Los Cabos. If you're looking for a vacation with beautiful surroundings, entertainment, social activities, music, and nightlife, this is a resort worth considering. It was another great opportunity to see firsthand how different Los Cabos resorts can be and how each property offers its own unique experience.
Our final day was filled with adventure!
We enjoyed a full-day tour of San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, ending the day with a beautiful sunset aboard a catamaran. We spent the morning exploring San José del Cabo and learning more about the city's history, culture, and local traditions.
One of my favorite experiences was a chocolate tasting and crafting workshop. We sampled different flavors and learned about the beans and the chocolate-making process. It was fun, interactive, and definitely something different from the typical tourist experience.
And then came the perfect ending to our trip... A beautiful Los Cabos sunset from a catamaran.
